How do White Alligators BreedThe White Alligators will start the process of mating in spring, when the temperature is at its peak. By using all sorts of aural, visual, tactile and olfactory cues, they will try to attract their mate.Their bellowing sound is lower than the vibrations of their sound which travels at a considerable distance in water. After Mating, females will lay eggs in the nest made from vegetation. The incubation period goes for 65 days, whereby females give all protection to the young ones. The sex of the White Alligator depends on temperature. As the time of hatching comes, their squeaking alerts the mother and she will then help the young ones to come out of their hard shell eggs. These young ones are just 8 to 10 inches long. Mother then will carry these young ones into the safety of water. In the waters juveniles will form a pod and for two years, they will remain under the protection of their mothers. Where White Alligators can be kept?White Alligators requires special housing including an indoor, climate-controlled room and pool with limited filtered sunlight. These White Alligators are very rare and they are now only kept in zoos.
