Where can you Purchase Crocodile Skin Products?

Crocodile skin products can be purchased in many different places and it often pays off to look around if you are after a certain item, and compare prices. Good quality croc skin items can be hard to find so make sure that you are satisfied with what you are buying. Examples of places where you can buy items include:

Browse the Internet to see what online shops are offering. (Make sure your country allows citizens to purchase and import croc skin goods.)

The Convention on International Trade on Endangered Species

The Convention on International Trade has established that crocodile skin trade is legal and allowed but only when limited and moderated by the rules set by the Convention. The CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora) work with the Convention Committee to make sure that crocodiles do not face extinction and that the groups of crocs whose numbers are currently low, will be left alone to breed. This ensures that trade can continue but the more important thing is that these important animals will not cease to exist.

The Convention has introduced conservation rules to make sure that exporters of these goods and suppliers of crocodile skin items are certifies traders that have been approved by the CITES. These procedures regulate crocodile skin products in order to assure availability to the consumer of items such as crocodile skin shoes or a croc skin handbag while protecting the existing and future populations of crocodiles.
