They are just a concrete building with 2 rows of pens, less then 4 feet in height, and only accessible through roof panels. There is only 2000 sq feet space for 900 alligators and Crocodiles. Proper nutrition and care is not provided. Hundreds are kept on concrete slabs without any proper space and they are killed brutally.

They are fed with dry-feed pellet instead of raw meat for reducing costs..Thus, there have been lot of protests by animal lovers all over the world against these brutalities and efforts are being made world wide to protect them.

Louisiana, Florida, Australia, Tanzania and several other countries have Crocodiles breeding farms and Natural reservoirs to prevent them from extinction, but it is also true that all these measures are being undertaken because of commercial use.

Queensland has a Code of Practice, for protection of Crocodiles. There are also two acts like Conservation and Land Management Act 1984 which grants responsibility "for conservation and protection of fauna throughout the State" and Wildlife Protection (Regulation of Exports and Imports) Act 1982, which ensures Crocodile population to increase.

Non Government Organizations, Animals Welfare groups worldwide are formulating proposals to minimize slaughter of Crocodiles. In Papua New Guinea farmers are given advise and help by Wildlife officers to set "Crocodile farms" which have streams nearby to make them feel at home in their Natural habitat. LAWS prevents export of skins of more than 51 cm (20 inches) across the belly as they enable the mature Crocodiles to breed, in the Forests and places where crocodiles are protected.
